1. INTRODUCTION
My Secret Needs ("MSN", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you access The Lounge, AI Twin chat, billing, and related parts of the Platform. This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy. It describes the technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can manage preferences in your browser and through product settings.
Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we ask for that consent through our banners or preference controls and honour your choices for the categories described below.
2. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They may be session cookies (cleared when you close the browser) or persistent cookies (kept until they expire or you delete them).
Local storage and session storage allow the app to save information in your browser—for example dark mode, Lounge layout preferences, or a draft chat message—without necessarily sending that data to our servers until you submit or sync an action.
Pixels, web beacons, and similar tags are small images or scripts that can help confirm delivery, measure engagement, or support security and fraud programmes when we deploy them as part of our stack.
3. CATEGORIES OF COOKIES WE USE
We group technologies into the categories below. Exact names, lifetimes, and vendors may evolve with the product; this summary reflects the roles they serve.
| Category | Purpose | Necessity |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Secure login (including Supabase authentication), CSRF protections, and payment gateway integrity. | Mandatory |
| Functional | Lounge preferences, language, and AI Twin UI state so the experience remembers your choices. | Highly Recommended |
| Analytics | Understanding popular Twins and product bottlenecks in aggregate. | Optional |
| Security/Fraud | Detecting bots, abuse patterns, and unauthorized access. | Mandatory |
4. AI-SPECIFIC TRACKING
AI Twin chat may use session storage (and related browser storage) to hold short-lived conversation context so the interface remains responsive while you use the product.
That context is transient by design. You can clear it through your browser. Where you use in-product account or privacy settings to reset or limit data, we align conversation state with those controls as our systems allow.
5. YOUR CONTROLS
Most browsers let you block, delete, or be notified about cookies and site storage. Essential cookies and similar technologies are required for secure login and purchases; if you block them, sign-in or checkout may not complete.
If your browser sends a recognized Do Not Track or comparable privacy signal that our systems can detect, we limit non-essential analytics to the extent supported, while continuing mandatory security, authentication, and payment processing.
6. RETENTION
Session cookies and session-scoped storage generally expire when you end your browser session, unless the product explicitly persists a preference in longer-lived storage with your action.
Persistent cookies may keep you signed in for a defined window—for example on the order of thirty (30) days for login convenience, depending on our authentication configuration—or remember preferences until they expire or you clear them. Lifetimes can vary slightly by feature or infrastructure update.
