1. PURPOSE, AUDIENCE, AND RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER POLICIES
MSN is a discreet, adults-only entertainment platform. This Age Policy sets out the minimum age to use the service, our expectations about honest participation, and how we align product controls with Australian online safety law and published regulatory guidance on keeping adult services away from children and young people.
Technical methods, data handling, and appeals for identity and age checks are described in our Age Verification Policy (`/legal/age-verification`). Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected and used. The Acceptable Use Policy (`/legal/acceptable-use`) and Community Guidelines describe prohibited conduct—including non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), child sexual exploitation material, and attempts to defeat safety or age controls—in the same terms we enforce platform-wide.
18+ only
2. MINIMUM AGE AND ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority in your place of residence if that age is higher, to create an account, purchase paid features, access mature-rated or paywalled experiences, or appear as a verified creator. By using MSN you represent that you meet this threshold.
The Platform is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone who does not meet the minimum age. If we learn that an account belongs to someone below the required age, or that age representations were false, we will restrict or close the account and delete or retain information only as permitted or required by law (including child-safety and audit obligations).
3. AUSTRALIAN ONLINE SAFETY CONTEXT
Australia’s Online Safety Act 2021 (Cth) establishes duties and tools for providers of social media and other online services, including cooperation with the eSafety Commissioner and responses to illegal and restricted material such as child sexual exploitation material and image-based abuse. MSN takes those obligations seriously alongside the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to personal information.
Regulators continue to publish expectations and consultation materials on age assurance for services that carry adult risk. MSN monitors those materials and calibrates gates, verification, and enforcement in a proportionate way as the law, guidance, and product evolve. Nothing in this Policy warrants that every future statutory or industry requirement is already implemented; we update flows and documents when changes are material.
4. AGE ASSURANCE AND CROSS-REFERENCE TO VERIFICATION
“Age assurance” on MSN means the combination of registration rules, technical gates, risk signals, and—where the product requires it—documentary, biometric, or vendor-assisted checks described in the Age Verification Policy. Creators who receive payouts or distribute adults-only content at scale, and fans who access certain high-risk surfaces, may be asked to complete stronger checks than casual browsing where the product permits it.
You must provide accurate information and cooperate with good-faith verification steps. Impersonation, forged documents, use of another person’s identity, or procuring verification for someone who does not meet the age threshold may result in immediate suspension, permanent ban, withholding of payouts pending investigation, and referral to competent authorities where appropriate.
5. PARENTAL AND GUARDIAN AWARENESS
MSN does not market to minors and does not offer parental “screen time” controls of the kind found on general-audience social apps, because the entire service is intended for adults. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has obtained credentials, made purchases, or otherwise accessed the Platform, contact Support promptly with any identifiers you can share (for example account handle, transaction dates, or screenshots of billing descriptors). We will investigate and take action consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
Guardians remain responsible for supervising payment instruments, devices, and subscriptions accessible to people in their household. Allowing a minor to use your verified session violates this Policy and may result in closure of the account.
6. CIRCUMVENTION, VPN USE, AND PLATFORM INTEGRITY
You must not use virtual private networks, proxies, shared credentials, emulators, or other means to disguise location or evade age gates, paywalls, or verification where doing so would defeat controls we rely on for compliance and user safety.
Where we reasonably conclude that access was obtained to bypass age assurance, we may permanently ban affected accounts, block associated devices or payment instruments, and cooperate with processors or authorities as the facts warrant. The notice at the top of this page applies without limiting other remedies in our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
7. ENFORCEMENT AND ESCALATION
We enforce this Policy through automated signals, human review, user reports, and vendor tooling. Consequences may include warnings, feature limits, suspension, termination, forfeiture of promotional balances obtained in breach, and law-enforcement or regulatory referrals—particularly for child safety, fraud, or serious abuse.
We may preserve records where required to investigate reports, respond to lawful process, or satisfy regulatory notices, subject to the limitations and safeguards in our Privacy Policy and contracts with verification vendors.
8. REPORTING CONCERNS
If you see content or conduct that suggests a user is underage, depicts minors sexually, involves non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), or otherwise violates law or our Acceptable Use Policy, use in-product reporting tools or contact Support with as much detail as is safe to provide (URLs, usernames, timestamps). We prioritize triage of child-safety reports and may involve specialist partners or authorities where the law requires or permits.
Australian users may also use complaint pathways offered by the eSafety Commissioner for certain categories of harmful online material; those pathways operate independently of MSN and are subject to the Commissioner’s rules.
9. CONTACT AND UPDATES
Questions about this Age Policy may be submitted through the in-product Support page. We may revise this Policy to reflect legal, regulatory, or product changes; the “Last updated” date on the legal template shows the latest revision for all hub documents.
